VoWiFi ATNVerse Shield - Magisk Patch File Guide Issue: Magisk shows "Select and patch a file" because the Magisk app is installed, but active root is not installed yet. The file you select must come from the exact stock firmware for your phone model and build number. What to select: 0. realme NARZO 80 Pro 5G / RMX5033: For build RMX5033_16.0.5.710(EX01), select init_boot.img from the exact same RMX5033_16.0.5.710(EX01) firmware. If your extracted firmware does not contain init_boot.img, use boot.img only after confirming the firmware matches the phone build exactly. Do not select the VoWiFi Shield APK, Magisk APK, Magisk ZIP, or payload.bin. 1. Samsung: Select AP_[model]_[build].tar.md5 from the full matching Samsung firmware package. Magisk will create a patched AP file. Flash it with Odin according to Magisk's official Samsung install guide. 2. Android 13+ phones: Select init_boot.img if the firmware contains it. If init_boot.img is not present, use boot.img only after confirming your device guide. 3. Android 8-12 phones: Select boot.img from the exact matching stock firmware. 4. payload.bin: Do not select payload.bin as the final file in most cases. payload.bin is inside many OTA/full firmware ZIP files. Extract it on a PC using a payload dumper, then copy init_boot.img or boot.img to the phone's Download folder and select that in Magisk. Critical checks: - Firmware build number must match the phone's current build. - Bootloader must be unlocked before flashing the patched image. - Flashing the wrong image can bootloop the phone. - Installing Magisk APK alone does not root the phone. After root is working: Open VoWiFi ATNVerse Shield > Advanced > Ask Root Permission. If Magisk shows a root permission popup, allow it. Then run Full Root VoWiFi Recovery. In-app toolkit: Open VoWiFi ATNVerse Shield > Advanced. Use Scan Root Files to check Downloads for init_boot.img, boot.img, payload.bin, or firmware ZIP names. Use Import Firmware/Image to select firmware ZIP, init_boot.img, boot.img, or payload.bin. If init_boot.img or boot.img is found directly, the app copies it to Downloads/VoWiFiShield so it is easier to select in Magisk.
